Rev. Moira McGuinn

Associate Pastor

Pastor Moira is a Miami native who has always called Miami home. She attended Sunset Elementary, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, Coral Gables High School, and the University of Miami. She earned her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. These are a few of her favorite things: Philippians 4: 4-9, the sound of our congregation singing together in worship, looking across the Plymouth campus in the afternoon light, the beach, films from the 1930’s, and theatre.

Rev. Hollie K. Schmidt

Associate Pastor

Pastor Hollie joined the staff of Plymouth Congregational Church in August 2023. Before coming to Miami, she spent 17 years serving churches in Lincoln, Nebraska, including First-Plymouth UCC, Crestwood Christian Church, and SouthPointe Christian Church. Her passion is helping people connect faith with everyday life through worship, service, mission, and building community. Hollie earned a degree in Business Administration from Baker University and a Master of Divinity from Phillips Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree at Phillips. She is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and holds full standing in the United Church of Christ. 

Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Hollie is married to Jody Schmidt. Together they have five grown children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling with Jody.
